Belize Planning: Buying the Lonely Planet
October 27th, 2008I just bought the Lonely Planet guide for Belize. I find their maps and info invaluable and I don’t have to waste time researching and printing. I get them from amazon.com since they are always the cheapest. I also ordered the Spanish phrasebook and some other filler items to cross the $25 free shipping mark.
I also tend to resell or trade the book after I am done to save money in the long run. Bangkok is a great place to sell/trade travel guides and other books. A great way to keep your backpack lighter and less cluttered.
