I have a busy schedule and I now have realized that my life is becoming more portable. This is good becuase It forces me to get into habits an buy things that are more portable. I now carry my laptop and camera with my in a small backpack as well as my passport and other important items.
This will also be how I travel when I am on the road permanently. It forces me to be more adaptive and utilize internet connections while I have access to them. I am also getting my iPhone ready for international use by having lots of useful apps installed that do not require an internet connection to function.
I am using remote access to my mac mini at home and sometimes work when I need too. We also have a verizon wireless broadband access card that I can borrow sometimes to have internet everywhere. It does come in handy and is quite fast for nationwide access.
I am also doing about 98% of my financial business online and love it. I can get a lot done in a short amont of time without paper, mailing, lines, stamps, or driving anywhere. With rising gas prices its that much more attractive.
Having this newer, lighter, faster, and all together better macbook pro is also making it easier. It doesn’t weigh a ton like my old laptop and is much better in terms of stability, battery life, and software. I will never own another PC. I am 100% sold on Mac. They really take the time to think of everything and it is perfect before it ships.
