The hyperconsumerist craze has taken the Americans (and apparently parts of the world) again. Lines were forming days in advance of the iPhone release. I contemplated going early this morning but opted against it. I have upgraded my current iPhone to 2.0 and I like the new features.
I will probably get my new phone next week after the heat dies down. I am sure there are plenty on ebay already and stories of people paying someone else $1,000 to stand in line for them to get the new phone. Its kinda sad, actually.
I am getting the new phone for the larger memory and the GPS functions. I will probably unlock my old one and sell it if they are going for a decent price. I won’t have a need for 2 iPhones.
