Today is the day that the Declaration of Independence was signed and handed over to the British in 1776. Today we celebrate with a holiday of cookouts, fireworks after dark, and partying. You can read more about the holiday at wikipedia.
I am spending the day with family and getting some much needed work done on my car. We are having a cookout this evening follow by fireworks on the beach. I also have a friend in town who may call so plans may change.
I am heading back to Atlanta tomorrow after lunch. I cannot wait!
